Research Technician (Full-Time)
Olfactive Biosolutions is seeking a full-time Research Technician to support ongoing research on gut–brain signaling and its role in the neural control of feeding behavior. This role combines hands-on laboratory organization and day-to-day lab management with primary neuroscience research using animal models. The Research Technician will help execute experiments, maintain accurate records, and keep the lab running smoothly as we advance our understanding of biological pathways that drive positive health outcomes.

Qualifications
- BS or MS in Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology
- 1-3 years of biotech industry experience required
- Hands-on experience in sterile cell culture techniques, passaging, seeding, and transfection for functional assays
- Experience executing high-throughput cell-based assays on automated platforms is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills applied to troubleshooting all components of the assay
- Experience using laboratory automation and liquid handlers is a plus
- General knowledge of biological safety, chemical safety, and general laboratory safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Competency in statistical analysis, data visualization, programming skills in Python/R/MATLAB are pluses
Responsibilities
- Execute cell-based assays of varying complexity
- Analyze data and propose new experiments to improve results and optimize processes
- Assist in day-to-day operations of the lab including assisting with design of experiments, prioritization, and capacity planning
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
