Olfactive Biosolutions
We discover and formulate food-derived ligands that modulate ectopic chemosensory receptors throughout the body—unlocking drug-like physiology with a consumer-friendly, scalable product format.
Now commercializing Pivit® (metabolic health) while building a pipeline of receptor-validated formulations for major chronic health categories.
What We Do
Activating physiological signaling pathways naturally
Olfactive Biosolutions is building a platform that identifies food-derived molecules capable of activating specific chemosensory receptors expressed throughout the body (including in the gut), turning “everyday” compounds into precise triggers of physiological signaling pathways. Our first product Pivit® applies this approach to metabolic health by naturally engaging hormone and satiety signaling—supporting endogenous GLP-1–related pathways and adjacent metabolic circuits—without relying on pharmaceuticals. This is especially important in the GLP-1 era because demand has outstripped access, many people struggle with tolerability or long-term adherence, and the market is rapidly expanding beyond drugs into foods, supplements, and functional ingredients that can help more people participate in the benefits of GLP-1–aligned metabolic support. Olfactive is translating the GLP-1 moment into a scalable, consumer-friendly pathway: leveraging nature’s ligands to activate the body’s own signaling biology.
Why Now
The market is demanding metabolic solutions that are effective, lower-cost, and easier to adopt.
GLP-1-era consumer behavior has shifted permanently—but most options remain constrained by price, access, tolerability, and persistence. Olfactive is building an alternative path: activate the body’s own signaling through receptor-targeted food ligands—designed for long-term use and broad distribution.
How it Works
We map receptor biology to real-world physiology.
Olfactory and taste receptor families aren’t limited to smell and taste; they also exist throughout the body as ectopic receptors that influence metabolic signaling. We identify food-based ligands that modulate these receptors and translate them into formulations designed to drive measurable outcomes—with a clear mechanism of action.
Built for scale from day one.
Because our starting materials are food-derived molecules, our approach is engineered for global accessibility, repeatable manufacturing, and high-volume distribution across consumer and partner channels.
TruePath® Platform
Olfactive pairs receptor science with systematic ligand discovery to build formulations that are:
- Receptor-validated (mechanism backed at the receptor level)
- Protectable (patented compositions and methods)
- Repeatable (a platform that generates a pipeline—not one product)
TruePath is a discovery engine that treats receptor biology as the roadmap to outcomes.
Pivit as first commercialization proof point
Receptor-defined mechanism, human readouts, scalable food-compatible chemistry, issued IP.
Pivit works through a specific biological mechanism
Rather than binding GLP-1 receptors directly, Pivit's food-derived molecules activate olfactory and taste receptors located in the GI tract — known as ectopic receptors. This stimulation prompts the body to secrete its own GLP-1, GIP, and PYY hormones naturally, as part of its normal satiety signaling process.
The results were measured, not estimated
Our human study used continuous glucose monitors and tracked outcomes over 12 weeks. Participants lost an average of ~12 lbs. When they paused the product, results stalled. When they restarted, results resumed. That's not marketing — that's cause and effect.
It's made from food ingredients — not synthetic drugs
Pivit uses GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) food-derived molecules. No prescription. No injections. No synthetic peptides. The same metabolic effect, through a pathway your body already uses every time you eat.
