Mission
Disrupting the Big Pharma Paradigm
Pharmaceutical companies develop or acquire a candidate drug molecule, patent it, and thereby secure protection while selling it at high prices for 20 years. In contrast, our approach is to use our unique knowledge of olfactory, taste and ectopic receptors, and the food molecules that activate them, to improve lives.
Although originally found in the nose and tongue, these olfactory, taste, and related receptors occur throughout the body—where they are generally termed ectopic receptors—in the gut, vasculature, skin, and elsewhere.
By replacing pharmaceuticals with food molecules, the treatment will be much cheaper, have few side effects, and can be used for a lifetime.
The Big Big Idea
Our Approach
Our Methodology
We are capitalizing on our deep understanding of olfactory, taste and ectopic receptors, and the diverse array of food molecules that activate them. By tapping into these inherent biological mechanisms, we aim to enhance the quality of life for individuals worldwide.
